Founded in June 2023, Shenzhen WeChroma Semiconductor is an innovative company dedicated to next-generation bionic vision chips. We build ultra-high-performance, ultra-low-power Dynamic Vision (DVS) solutions for robotics, autonomous driving, and cutting-edge consumer electronics—enabling machines to truly perceive the world in real time.

We are the world’s only semiconductor company to successfully unite conventional vision (RGB), Time-of-Flight ranging (ToF), and the event camera (DVS) on a single chip. This is not a simple stacking of functions, but a complete reconstruction from the ground up.

Barrier 01

The spatial contest of mixed signals

Taming RGB’s synchronous frames, DVS’s high-frequency asynchronous event stream, and ToF’s nanosecond photon timing all on a single sliver of silicon demands extraordinarily precise pixel layout and multi-channel readout design on an advanced process node.

Barrier 02

Crosstalk suppression for heterogeneous signals

The high-frequency pulses DVS fires are fatal noise to sensitive ToF and RGB signals. With our proprietary pixel-level isolation process, we eliminate interference among all three signals at the physical layer.

Real-time multimodal fusion

Linking the hardware is only the beginning. We conquered the compute-scheduling bottleneck to achieve hardware-level real-time fusion of massive heterogeneous data—driving power consumption to the limit while balancing ultra-wide dynamic range and ultra-low latency.

Company officially founded

Shenzhen WeChroma Semiconductor Co., Ltd. is founded; the core founding team comes together and sets off into the uncharted territory of bionic vision.

End of 2025

Core technology breakthrough

Having overcome the key technical bottlenecks, the world’s first “three-in-one” bionic vision chip successfully completed small-batch Risk Production.

2027 (Projected)

Full commercial rollout

The chip advances to mass production, officially empowering the global advanced autonomous-driving and embodied-intelligence robotics industries.
